New year, New day, New goals and aspirations, this is what many would be heard conversing about. With all due respect, there is nothing wrong with any of these yet there are some misconceptions most people seem to have about attaining GREATEST. Whenever you sit to set new goals and ambitions, do you ask yourself how you intend to achieve those targets? Majority think the “ends justifies the means” hence the need to do whatever it takes to attain their ambitions.

“Super Powers”;They claim they are.

Hmmm, I may not have been to every continent in the world but I have been to draw a common pattern among the various continents; self-interest is a major fuel that drives the conflicts faced by the world. Having wealth or recognition does not make a person untouchable or invincible, one needs the love and assistance of all those around him/her to enjoy not only the wealth but also their lives. The world is now at a junction of envy, anger, greed, violence, hatred and social change. Despite we knowing that only the latter can save us, we still strive hard at digging our own grave.

Global warming is already at an alerting state yet bush fire in many parts of Africa is still on the rise and the leaders on one hand are acting contrary to their expected roles while on the otherhand, their followers are taking advantage of their leaders obliviousness to perpetrate more misdemeaneurs against mother Nature. When some get confronted by their collegues, they put up senseless excuses. Some claim it would take centuries for the Earth to destroy itself hence they have nothing to fear about. The big question is that, what are the world “Super Powers” doing about these negligence since they stand to gain the most should Africa survive?
